“A Real Little Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

My husband was introduced to the Bluebell a few weeks ago on an organised walk when the group stopped for tea - he thought it was lovely so we went last week with our grandson two all day breakfasts and a welsh rarebit our food was delicious excellent produce and beautifully cooked it was all very well presented at affordable prices. Clare who looked after us was warm and friendly and even though the café was full still found time to chat.

We like the concept of the Bluebell - a wonderful find sitting in such a lovely position and we will definitely be going back very soon.

“Excellent quality food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

My husband and I stopped for a cup of tea and a cake yesterday afternoon and I can honestly say gorgeous food lovely spotlessly clean and really friendly staff, we had tea, scone and chocolate brownie which were so delicious I was tempted to take one home.

We saw other food going out and that too looked gorgeous lovely fresh salads and sandwiches.

Will be going again soon and taking our grandson as the setting is just perfect for a stroll

Thanks

“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

We stayed in Chester for the evening and wanted to go somewhere other than our hotel for breakfast. Found this little treasure on trip advisor so thought we'd give it a go. Deliciously fresh breakfast at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

“Lovely breakfast”

Lovely breakfast in a lovely setting. You can't be in a hurry when you come here because everything is made freshly on site. Definitely worth the wait though. Will definitely be back.

“Thoroughly lovely... the best afternoon tea ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

I booked afternoon tea for 5, after my wedding dress fitting in Chester. A short drive from the City and a lovely reception from the extremely friendly staff. The food was overwhelmingly good value for money, 2 pots of tea (or coffee), a fresh selection of delicious sandwiches, gorgeous moist cakes and freshly baked scones with the trimmings. We were all totally satisfied and the cost was so reasonable at £11 p/p. We had a fantastic afternoon and can highly recommend this super café, we can't wait to go back. Profits go to the associated charity too!
