My husband and I chose the Peacock Hill Country Inn after hearing about it from friends. It was a little difficult to find, but the trip through the countryside was nice. We stayed in the Kathleen Suzanne room, which is in the main house. It was impeccably clean with a wonderfully soft bed. The bathroom had a big tub with spa jets, which was very relaxing. They even had washcloths set aside for removing makeup (never seen that before) and two bathrobes. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, meeting the sheep and seeing the peacocks. One nice extra was the cooler of drinks and snacks in a common room and a freezer with ice cubes. We also enjoyed just sitting on the front porch swing. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very nice. If you're looking for a relaxing escape, this is the place.
