“No thrills or frills but very nice service and very clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We spotted this hotel after calling three others and for $50, it was a bargain. The rooms are typical microtel rooms......small but there is a cable tv, fridge, and hot water. The small breakfast was enough with cereal and a banana, but the coffee was definitely on the weak side. Go for the tea instead. Since we were only in town for one evening during our move across the country, this was a great spot. The hotel was quiet, plenty of parking and the parking lot well lit. The staff, especially Becky, was professional and helpful. The Wi-fi also worked well. There are plenty of eateries and gas stations nearby.

This hotel is average, clean, good price for the stay plus continental breakfast. It is worn and needs updating. The chain lock on the room I stayed in was broken and the "peak hole" was missing and stuffed with tissue. If I were traveling alone, I would have asked for a different room and I am sure the staff would have gladly given me one. The staff is so helpful. Thanks to Becky who not only checked us in but also took the time to help show me how to "log in" on my lap top computer when I experienced problems with it. The mirror on the wall had a large crack in it. All in all, it was clean, wonderful, helpful people who run it, good price. I actually want to give it a 3/12....would have given it a 4 if not for the updates that need to be done on it. Once that is done (cracked mirrors replaced, stained carpet in hallway replaced, security locks fixed, etc. ).....it will get a 4 from me. It is also right with other hotels and restaurants which is a plus. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Room Tip: Best to do for a good room is to look the room you are given over, if you are dissatisfied with it...

I hate to rate this place this low because the people are so nice. That said the place needs a general cleaning and they probably need to replace the bedding. The rooms are nice size and the internet is good. That's about all I can say on the upside.

The carpet and cloth on the couches and chairs need to be replaced or deep cleaned, really deep cleaned. The beds need replacing, pretty worn out and not very comfortable.

It's a shame because it's a good location, the people are really nice, the place has potential, just feels like maybe the owners are a little lacking on updates.

After driving for a full day, we decided to pull into Clarksville. Looking for a place to stay, I thought of a stay at a Microtel when I was a teenager and figured, hey, we liked it then, let's do it now. Boy was I wrong. This hotel is a total dive motel. DIrty colors, 1980's tvs, floral bedding.
One of the beds blankets had obvious dirt on it, showing it had not been washed recently. We had our own blankets and put them to use, after I felt the need to check mattress creases. Beds didn't allow for a very good night sleep and after being in a hotel the night before where I had ample pillows, the cheap one pillow that left your neck cranked to a side didn't call for much comfort.

This is the type of hotel construction workers are stuck in, not a family oriented design.

Holes in bedding, stains on floor, bedding, chair, shower curtain. Bedding is extremely itchy and i got bit up by fleas. Cracks and scraches on mirror and sink. Stains in groute and stains along toilet. Dust on anything hanging on the walls. Room also had an odor and the remote to the tv only partially worked. The room was also out dated. The second worst hotel experience ever but dont expect to get your money back they have a nice big no refunds sign at the front desk. We were supposed to stay 4 days but were out of there first thing the next morning. Avoid this place !!!!

Don't bother thinking about staying here. It was filthy, beds/pillows were the pits and the smoked mirrors were creepy. The breakfast was so disgusting. It was just like getting prepackaged items in a gas station. We used to stay at Microtel Hotels when they were first opened and will never stay in another one ever again.
