“Pleasant stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2012

We stayed here for three days on a house hunting trip and found everything to be quite pleasant. The staff was helpful and the rooms were very clean. Although the hotel was remodeling the rooms and hallways, there were no loud noises during the day. The breakfast was decent. The hotel's location was convenient to the freeway, shops and restaurants, Overall it was a good value for the money.

We stayed here by chance after another clarksville hotel gave our room away. The manager and desk worker at wingate were so pleasant, helpful and understanding of our situation. They put us in the most amazing king suite with a jacuzzi tub. We so much enjoyed the staff and room that we will always stay here. Probably about 8 times a year. Very impressed. This is how a hotel should be managed. Just cant say enough. Give them a try, they will do their best to make you happy. Also, very nice, clean rooms.

Beds are very comfortable with down alternative for cover and soft sheets. The towels, linens and toiletries were very adequate and the room was fresh and clean. Rooms were quiet even though they are near the expressway. The breakfast in the lobby was not outstanding but certainly adequate for the price (free).

Had a king suite with jacuzzi. Was able to get the room for $99, as long as we didn't use the jacuzzi. Great value! Was very clean and second room had sofa bed, small kitchen, desk for working. Very satisfied with the value and cleanliness. Would stay at a Wingate again, as this was my first stay at one.

our room was right beside I-40 ,, noisy trailer trucks all night.
also, guests were very loud.
I,m going to start staying at a hotel that guarantees a good night sleep.
This is not one of them !!!

Room Tip: stay as far away from interstate as possible

The clerk at this hotel was friendly as a rattlesnake. When I inquired about your using my Wyndham Rewards Point for the stay, she said she didn't know how to do that. You've got to be kidding! This is the leading hotel chain in the Wyndham Rewards Program, and the staff doesn't know how to let you use your Rewards points.

When we got to the room, we found the heat on. It's the middle of September in the South, and they're running the heat? We quickly realized that the beds had no blankets on them. Instead they were outfitted with these ridiculous duvets, which are some obscene combination of a comforter and sheets. A blanket they are not. Trying to sleep under them is like sleeping under a tent that fell on you. When we requested blankets from the clerk, she acted like we were asking for special treatment, and walked off in a huff.

This is another example of a hotel chain pretending to be an upscale luxury hotel, yet it can't put blankets on the bed and will only change your sheets every three days unless you ask them to.

If a hotel is going to be in the hospitality industry, they ought to know the meaning of the word hospitality. The staff here clearly does not.

We stayed here with a group for the AAU basketball tournament in Clarksville. The hotel was very clean, the continental breakfast included in the rate was good and the pool area was clean. The staff were all polite and very helpful. We used the 'food' area for the continental breakfast different times of day for get togethers with our team and the hotel was great in supporting that. Would stay here again. Very close to restaurants, stores, the mall, etc.

Room Tip: Rooms have double beds, so for a family of 4 not a lot of sleeping room, but space to add a mattress...
