“Good place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

We were in Chattanooga for my husband's college graduation. Chose this hotel because his school offered a discount with this hotel. Price was reasonable. Good location. Room was clean. Only complaint is that room is somewhat small.

Again, entered a very clean room. Had a king interior room. Nicely furnished had everything. Breakfast just a few more options than the usual fare.Older Fairfield Inn but has been updated. There are rooms that face out onto the street if that bothers you request an inside room.

Having stayed here before several times i had hoped for the same experience and was not disappointed. the hotel although it has been there for several years was updated a few years back and shows no worse for the wear. it is clean, efficient and easily accessible off the interstate and near the large mall..my only complaint is the traffic is terrible in the area but that is not something the hotel can control. will stay there again when in the area. there are lot of chain restaurants nearby with a cracker barrel next door.

Room Tip: although they have outside entrance accessible rooms i felt safer using the inner hallway ones...ele...

We remembered our previous happy stay here so stopped again. So convenient from the highway and such a good, clean, comfortable place to stay. Staff is very helpful and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Price was very good as well.

Stayed here thanks to a $59 bid on Priceline. No problems with the room -- clean, newer furniture and OK bedding. Worked out in the fitness room the next morning and enjoyed their decent breakfast. No complaints at all.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

My family stayed here one night as we were passing through town. The room was clean, no complaints there. Our room was on the 3rd floor, which was the only floor with an interior hallway. No fridge in the room, which might be a characteristic of this chain. Whenever any of our neighbors took a shower, it sounded like their shower was in the middle of our room. This also probably means they heard the fit my over-tired 4 year old threw. My apologies to those neighbors.

The breakfast was lacking in healthy options. My husband and kids enjoyed making their own waffles, but beyond that, options were limited to microwaveable frozen sandwiches & frozen omlettes, 4 sugary cereals, apples and bananas. The woman tending to the breakfast area did not appear at all pleasant and not very helpful.

We could have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express for the money we paid for just the one night. If I pass through this area again, I will probably stay somewhere else.

We have used this property a few times for our easy off, easy on, Chattanooga, TN, overnight stopovers. Clean and very comfortable mattress. A good breakfast, The staff has always been very helpful, especially with personal travel problems such as locking keys in the car. On our last trip it was a rush trip to get back to a seriously ill brother who had just entered a hospice. We were a little preoccupied when we left breakfast at the property and my wife left her purse behind. Another patron had noticed the situation & brought it the attention of front desk clerk whose manager contacted us on the highway. The Manager confirmed the safety of the purse & contents. She went out of her way & personally made sure that the purse was delivered to us. These were people that cared about us. And especially in our emotional state, we felt so much more than just a customer. We will be back on our next stay in Chattanooga. This Fairfield Inn is a good value.
