“My favorite coffee shop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

Rembrandt's offers a wonderful assortment of bagels, pastries, sweets, coffee and tea. It sits high on the Bluff, with indoor and outdoor seating. It is always good!

“excellent desserts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

Toured the museum and then went to Rembrandt's for a little relaxation. Sat on the patio and shared desserts. The lemon tart, key lime tart, toffee square and turtle square were all excellent.

“Go for Coffee - NOT LUNCH!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2014

The BAD - Our party ate lunch at Rembrandt's today. Disappointment across the board 6 for 6. The salads are so-so, cheap deli meat on the Chef, the added grilled chicken on the spinich salad was dry and tough, the tuna salad was very dry, the paninis were barley tolerable. And to make matter worse they were very slow in their ticket time although the restaurant was less then half capacity. The GOOD, the macaroons and pastries were excellent. My suggestion eat lunch elsewhere, go to Rembrandt's for coffee and a treat. The patio is a nice open area to convene if the weather is nice.

“Mixed experiences”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2014

This was my second visit to this location. Both times found their approach to service disorganized and not user friendly when they are busy. Once one makes it through their ordering process and self service collection of your order, found the pastries to be average to very good, depending on item. Looks are no indication of taste or quality as in most pastry. Their coffee prep is mediocre at best. In watching the attendant do the work, they are either poorly trained or don't care to follow the correct procedures. However having said all that, it is still a pleasant respite in Chattanooga to while away some time.

“Lovely facility, bad coffee”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

A very mixed review here. If you are staying in the Arts District, you could do worse. The space, with its ample and woody outdoor seating, is a very pleasant way to start the day. The place is a pastry shop as much as a coffee shop, and the pastries look quite good. That said, the coffee is bad, on the order of standard hotel coffee. There is no excuse for that today. Coffee buffs are better off looking elsewhere, possibly the nearby South Side.
