Very solemn and dedicated. All military and spouses. Assistance by local sources was also professional.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We drove through on a rainy afternoon. We didn't get out of the car, but just drove slowly. Our kids had never visited a national cemetery before, and even under those less then ideal conditions, they seemed to understand the seriousness of the place. Very peaceful and well kept. Part was under major renovations. I am curious about all the vaults that we saw....I assume they were vaults? They were sitting on top of the ground....

“Chattanooga National Cemetery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

This cemetery has veterans from the Revolution to the present. It includes the graves and a memorial to the "Andrew's Raider's" who stole the Confederate train "The General" and were the first recipient of the Medal of Honor. It also contains the graves of German prisoners of war from WWI and WWII. A moving and rewarding place to visit.
