“Helps get you the information on what you will see at the battlefield”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

It is a small theatre for the film the visual helps to keep it all straight. The gift shop has everything you would need to buy (books, maps, etc) about this area. Neat stuff for kids too. They have fresh popcorn and a neat cannon outside for photo opportunities. I loved the flags out in front on display. The film really reminds you what the soldiers really suffered through during this time.

“Easy History Lesson”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Visited the electric Map and Museum at Point Park and enjoyed learning about the local history. Recently moving to the area, it was helpful to understand the history of the civil war and how Chattanooga played its part. The Park Rangers did a great job telling the story as well. The map is a great visual in explaining how things played out. I think children would enjoy and they would be engaged.

“Nice but overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

The ~30 minute presentation with sequenced lighting on model topographical battlefield rendering was nice. But at 30+ dollars for a family of four, I would call it overpriced.

“Very Interesting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

We visited with our 8-year-old during the middle of June. We got discounted tickets when we bought our Rock City tickets. We paid $4 instead of $8. I was impressed with how the lighting made the battles come to life. I was able to make connections to locations I read about, plus our visit to Point Park (next to museum) made much more sense. If you are a Civil War buff, it is worth $4 and 30-40 minutes of your time.

The views are amazing. Very calm and beautiful place for a afternoon hike. The staff was very nice and really the best bang for ur buck I would say.
