My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with Saturday Dinner Date night here. This was simply a wonderful dinner. Their website describes the dinner date as:
"Diners will enjoy an amazing and affordable romantic dinner for two with appetizers, salads, entrées, a bottle of wine and dessert for only $65 a couple. The menu changes weekly, based on providing guests with the freshest products available in the market."
Yes that's right -- 4 course and a bottle of wine for $65! The food was marvelous. The service was marvelous. As we finished the main course, the fire alarm went off and we had to move to the sidewalk patio area. When we returned, all were given a glass of champagne for the inconvenience. After the fire alarm, our dinner ended with a special dessert they put together for our anniversary where they had written Happy Anniversary in chocolate sauce on a plate along with a creme brulee, a slice cheesecake, and some fruit.
The fire alarm going off could have been a disaster but they handled the situation with grace and class -- not letting it impact the experience anymore than safety required.
