“Always busy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

This place is always hopping and the food is good... I had the California Sun pizza and it was really good. I tasted the fish tacos and the lobster shrimp taco and I thought they were really good. The egg roll appetizers are also tasty. All in all we have eaten there twice and it was very good. I will come again when I am around that area.

“Disappointing recipe changes.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

We have always loved going to Big River Grille in Chattanooga because their fish tacos were awesome, some of the best around. now the recipe has changed from the delicious mahi mahi to the bottom feeder carp, tilapia. it's disgusting, not a good value anymore either. service was fine as always.

“Great for a cold beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Nice location downtown on Broad Street in a historic old building. Beautiful interior! Outside cafe seating is also available and fun for people watching. The food was ok and the beer cold and refreshing!

“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

It's really convienient to the Aquarium and other riverfront activities. Good waitstaff and excellent food. We enjoyed the variety of options available on the menu and the desserts are amazing and huge. The trio of desserts feeds at least two or more and is a great way to sample three of them.

“Terrific food and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

On a road trip to Alabama we stopped in Chattanooga and ate here at the Hamilton Place site. WE seated our selves outside, and had a tough time figuring out our choices from the menu. Our server was very helpful and recommended a few items, including the Nachos, whish were huge and absolutely delicious. Those that were having beer enjoyed their brews, and those of us with flavored Ice teas were equally pleased! Our main dishes were also very large portions, but silence fell as we all dug into them....they were wonderful...and several of us had leftovers for a late night snack. We would definitely eat here again, lots of other entrees to try!
