“Wonderful new addition to downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

This is simply great authentic Neapolitan pizza, with toppings that would satisfy everyone's taste. We started with the big bowl of roasted chopped veggie salad (enough for the 4 of us), and all agreed it was outstanding. The vinaigrette for the salad was very tasty. For the pizzas, we tried the super hero (everyone's favorite - the kobe beef meatballs...oh my), nueske's bacon (close second), the lamb sausage, and the margherita. The margherita is the best basic, simple pizza ever! Save room for the home made ice cream (we had chocolate banana - to die for!). We will be back to this restaurant on our next visit to Chattanooga for sure.

“Super delish Pizza AND gourmet Gelato, too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

I am a pizza aficionado, and I will be a regular at Community Pie after one visit. Best in town. Real Italian pizza with local ingredients, baked in real pizza ovens. I know if a pizza joint is good by their simple Margherita pizza, and Community Pie's fresh mozzarella and basil were nothing short of Italy! Before you leave, try the gelato- made fresh daily. I had the pear-ginger, and it was unbelievable!

“Authentic Neapolitan Pizza in downtown Chattanooga”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Just opened by local restauranteur, we tried it for the first time celebrating a family birthday. We loved it. They have two kick butt 750 degree wood fired pizza ovens that are on display through a glassed in kitchen. The bars (there are two bar counters) are staffed with a very sharp group of young bartenders and there is an extensive offering of traditional and crafted beers. We sampled three different appetizers; Meat Balls, Pita bread and dip, and the Caprese "toast" . All were excellent. The Neapolitan Pizza's are all priced around $12 and you can pick from a nice selection or customize as you like. If you order the Lamp Sausage, be ready for a great spicy kick. The vibe is young, fun and high quality. It is on the noisy side and there were a lot of young families there as well. Great new addition to downtown Chattanooga.
