“It was an alright place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2006

This was an alright place for 40 bucks but be cautious because the online rates for this hotel are high. I paid that walking in the door which was alot less than what I could have paid online. Its just a basic economy hotel. My only complaints were that the room could have been vaccumed better because there were little pieces of paper on the floor and the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off the wall. Its alright if you pay 40 bucks but if you pay 60 like you would pay online you would be paying too much. It was an alright place for just a night but the bed was a little uncomfortable.

  • Liked — The price was good
  • Disliked — The room could have been a little better if things were a little more kept.
  • Tips/Secrets — Call the hotel to see what they charge because online rates for this place are high

We stayed at this property for a 2-night stay while visiting Chattanooga. Upon check-in, the staff was very friendly. Requested a room on the first floor and we were accommodated. The room was very clean with a small refrigerator and microwave. This property has a great "small" place feel.

They serve a continental breakfast consisting of homemade waffles, cereals, pastries, & juices. There is also an outdoor pool, which was also very clean. There is a great WI-FI connection at the hotel.

The only problem that we encountered is the room attendant did not make up the beds after the first night at the property. The front said that he must not have understood what we wanted.

All in all, great budget place for the money. There is a large shopping mall with lots of shopping about 5 minutes from the hotel and downtown Chattanooga is about 15 minutes away. I will be back on my next trip.

Just returned from a mini Chattanooga Spring Break 06 to the Aquarium, IMAX, and Kid's Museum. We paid $50 before taxes for this hotel directly from the web. The hotel was easy to get to, just right off I75 and is about 15 minutes from the Aquarium. There are a couple of Fast Food restaurants and gas stations nearby. This is a family owned hotel (franchise)... but please don't let that fool you. The hotel seemed to be very new, very clean, well managed. This hotel houses about 40 rooms and it reminds me of a big 2 story house. There is also an outdoor pool, but it was closed due to the season. The security level is not compromised by the size of the hotel where a room card is required to get into the building. The indoor corridor was well lit, decorated lightly, and up to date. The doors are well sealed to keep out the noises. The room (Double) was large and clean. The sink area is separated from the bathroom (which was clean). The beds were firm (might have been a little too firm for MY liking). The air conditioning was running quietly. The TV had several cable channels to choose from. The breakfast room is furnished with a brick fireplace, a couch, a love seats and a handful worth of tables and chairs. The breakfast items offered were- make-it-yourself waffle, pastries, bread slices, apple, cold cereals, coffee, and juices.

Overall, we made a good decision staying at this hotel. The family was friendly yet professional. Sometimes, bigger doesn't mean better...

We were very pleased with our stay at the Park Inn. This is an economy class hotel, so there are no frills. The room was clean, the pool was small but clean and fun for the kids, the people were friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was good; they even have waffles which we enjoyed. The area is a good area to be in, it was a quiet area. Right down the street were many eating establishments to choose from. (I would suggest you try Steak & Shake for fast food. I had never heard of them, but we tried it and were pleased.) It was an easy drive on I-75 to all the attractions, i.e., Rock City, Ruby Fall, ect. I recommend this hotel 100%. Oh, by the way, we called the hotel directly and got a rate of $44.95/night.

I took my family to Chattanooga for a few nights. We stayed at Park Inn. It was great rates and everyone was very friendly. Whenever we needed anything--we were always met with a smile. It was a basic hotel room, but the people at the front were great. She even let us go look at the rooms before we checked in. It's about 15 minutes from attractions, but very quiet............ Would stay here again..........

This hotel was wonderful. It was nice, cozy and not far from all of Chattanooga's main attractions. The staff was wonderful. I will be staying there again when I go back next year.

The Park Inn was a nice hotel. It met our basic needs. It was very clean. The room came with a microwave, mini-fridge, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. It was very quiet. It was nothing fancy, just your basic hotel room. We would stay here again.
