“Authentic & delicious New Orleans food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

Fried green tomatoes - fabulous! Crab cake po boy: to die for! Having been relocated from New Orleans to Florida by hurricane Katrina, we know how hard it is to find authentic creole recipes elsewhere, but this downtown restaurant has got it going on.

We'll make this a regular stop when in Chattanooga from now on.

“Wondeful etouffe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

My family and I went here over the weekend. The service was wonderful. Loved the Etouffe (good and spicy) and the fried green tomatoes. We will visit again when in the area.

“Try the Etouffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Very reasonably priced, and more food than you can finish.

The Shrimp Etouffe and the Jambalaya were the best. I tried a little of everything. Everything with crayfish in it was a little boring, but I believe that is the nature of crayfish.

It feels like fine dining at night, but the staff is so friendly that the place isn't stuffy at all. you could take a group of friends here and really have a good time.

“Stay Away!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

Service sucks. We were warned to stay away by people who tried the place before but wanted to give the place a chance. Every one was right.... This place is horrible. Spend your money where it will be appreciated!

“Love the Restaurant, but not a place to have a large party”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

We go here all the time (2-3) of us and it is wonderful. Good food and great service. I decided to have a birthday party there (12 adults) and was not pleased. Three of us got there on time and we asked to be seated, so we could order drinks. Even though the place was almost empty, they would not seat us until over 1/2 of our party arrived. Most of them were running late, due to weather. At that point, we asked for a drink while we waited. They said that was not allowed (they always offer drinks while you wait). We finally got seated and was told they would take our drink orders when everyone arrived. They would not even put down glasses for water. We finally got everyone there (30-40 min later) and began to order. Once the food came, only a plate or two came at a time. They said they were bringing them like that, so they wouldn't get cold. Sadly, some got done eating early and others waited for a while. I have always been taught not to eat until everyone at the table has their food. I do understand that you do not want to serve cold food, but you have to learn how to prepare everything close to the same time. I will continue to visit with just a couple of people, but will never go back with a large party. They could have make quite a bit of money on drinks and appetizers if they would have seated us and started serving drinks immediately.
