We brought our young children as soon as it opened at 11am, so it was pretty empty. They were accommodating to us even though our travel-worn kids weren't on their best behavior. We tried a few things because we usually love gastropubs. The pot roast nachos were good, but came out a bit too cold. I wouldn't order them again because they didn't blow me away. My sandwich did, however- the Poplar Stroll, which is pulled pork with their stout barbecue sauce and coleslaw. I would order that again in a heartbeat. The bison burger was great and my husband loved the Southsidenstein Stout (he likes beer very dark and creamy). The sweet potato fries were better than the regular fries.
We will probably make time to eat here again before we head back home from our trip.
