“Modern up to date/Loved the bathroom!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

Very nice hotel in a very busy town. Room was nice, bed comfy, very modern with the art and colors in the room. I like the bathroom, great lighting, granite counter tops. If ur a woman, u will like the bathroom, it was spacious. Although, u will have to drive to down town Chattanooga, this place was nice.

Being a Sales Rep on the road, it's nice being able to come to a clean, updated, hotel! From the moment I walked in, being greeted immediately and friendly by the desk, and just the whole modern feel made my stay well worth it. Holiday Inn has done a fantastic job with all their hotels and this one is no exception! Comfortable, clean, and always willing to come back when I am through Chattanooga. Yeah, it may be a little drive away from the 'main area', but I didn't mind it one bit. Two thumbs WAY up!

We enjoyed this hotel very much--very new and modern--nice swimming pool; good breakfast.

Only problem was that it was too far from the "main area" of the downtown--we had to get in our car to go to dinner.

This is a nice hotel consistent with the newer HiEx properties elsewhere. There is a lot of traffic noise until about 7 pm. No high-definition channels are offered despite having flat screens that can handle them - would have been nice.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the street.

Very nice hotel. Basic stuff. Away from downtown but only by a few miles. Clean rooms.

Hotel was clean, amenities were standard, typical quick breakfast fare. Our streetside room was comfortable, but noisy. The traffic noise, even in the middle of the night, seemed to be amplified.

We originally wanted a hotel that was closest to the Tennessee Aquarium. So when I emailed the general info email address on the hotel webpage asking how far away they were, the hotel manager emailed me back within 20 minutes to give me the information I needed. 20 minutes? That was amazing customer service. And since I was making the plan for all 3 families meeting there, I made the executive decision to forget the plan to pick the closest hotel and went with the hotel a few more blocks away that had the best customer service. We were not disappointed. That exemplary customer service went from the top down and everyone we came in contact there gave Southern Hospitality a new meaning. The rooms were clean & fresh with plenty of pillows, firm & soft offered. Bathrooms were clean and fully stocked. The free breakfast (a real breakfast with scrambled eggs, ham, biscuits and fresh made pancakes) would have thrilled even the most jaded traveler. For those eating lighter, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins or toast were plentiful. The breakfast attendant never seemed to stop moving during our visit, keeping everything fully stocked and clean.

The pool was smallish, but very clean and loaded daily with fresh towels. Restrooms are conveniently located right across the hall from the pool.

We were about 7 blocks from the Tennessee Aquarium. We drove and parked right in front of the TA, was worth the $9, because after we toured the TA and walked all over the plaza, the kids ( 1 yr, 5 yr, 7 yr, 10 yr & 20 yr's) were just ready to hope in the van & head back to the hotel. Since we weren't waiting on the shuffle, we were back to the hotel in 5 minutes.

Also, I have to mention the groundskeeper/maintenance guy. I think his name is Andre. He was also so polite and friendly, and just smiling as he went about his work. You don't always see that in this day & age.

Room Tip: 5th floor rooms were quiet.
