“Not much to it. But do it anyways!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Best part is looking up at the track and seeing how steep and how high the rail car goes. The ride itself is nice and relaxing but not at all thrilling. We got out hung out at the gift shop for a few and then took the ride back. Crossed that from our to do list and got on with our vacation.

“Worth doing once!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013 via mobile

Always wanted to donor when visiting. Worth it to do once and listen to the presentation. There is stuff to don other than the gift shop such as point park and the battles of chattanooga. You just have to walk to them.

“Not Worth the Money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Not worth the Money. Nothing to do at the top of the mountain except by junk from their gift store. Save your money and go to somewhere nice for dinner!

“Too Expensive for the Short Time Involved”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013 via mobile

Not sure what the rate was because we bought a package deal that included Rock City, Ruby Falls and The Incline for $46. But if a high lookout is what you want, you get the same view from Rock City which includes plenty of paved walking paths that meander thru beautiful rock formations. Can take several hrs. if you want. The Incline has a recorded message playing telling of its history but there were several passengers who were talking loudly and you couldn't hear it. Kept waiting for the attendant to say something but he didn't. Asked if the same message would play going back down and the "conductor" said it would. It was different however. They should make sure all passengers are courteous because maybe they've heard it before but others haven't. The conductor riding along was not truthful to me and I felt ripped off. Also, we had a coupon for a .99 cone at their ice cream parlor, but they only had vanilla or strawberry available out of the 10 or 12 fancy ones listed. It was not even noon yet. The whole place seemed kinda run down.

We enjoyed the incline. Views at the top were wonderful. Kids will love it. It is worth taking the time to do.
