This was my first visit in several years and I have to say i was just as thrilled this time as on my initial visit. The aquarium is really two aquariums - the original River building and new Oceans building. Each is state of the art with lots to do and see. The kids especially liked the butterfly exhibit and the "hands-on" exhibits (where they could tough Sturgeon and Stingrays. I was especially impressed with South American fresh water stingrays which I had never seen before in the dozen or so other aquariums I have visited. The two building layout is very conducive to a relaxing visit. We stopped for lunch between the two. This is a top attraction in Chattanooga for good reason. My only constructive critique would be that the volunteer guides can be a little rough around the edges - but then one has to remember that they are volunteers and this is Chattanooga!
Take the family and enjoy.
