“Over-crowded”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

It was too expensive and too overcrowded. The group was huge and we kept having to wait for the huge crowds infront of us to clear the way. The wall to the falls would've taken 5 minutes, 10 if you took your time, instead it was close to 30-40, which was mostly spent standing in the one place for a long time.

Also the falls have been ruined by the owners. Instead of letting the falls natural beauty wow us we were assaulted with a "dazzling" song and light show. Completely ruining the experience

“Underground Wonder”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

My wife and I visited Ruby Falls, not knowing what to expect. If you are claustrophobic, this is not a tour you should take. However, if you can overcome this issue, it is worth the experience. My wife and were a little concerned after exiting the elevator, the area had a very low ceiling and we had to overcome any trepidation that we had about tight spaces. As the tour starts, you are led through various parts of the cave that is lit for effect and has signs that point out specific formations. The journey was awe inspiring even if a little tight and cramped in places. At the end of the path, you reach the falls which is truly awe inspiring. If you don't have claustrophobia, then we would definitely recommend visiting Ruby Falls.

“Great attraction for the kids!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

I remember going here many years ago when I was a kid and enjoyed it as much this time as I did then. Go during the off season, so the tours are not as crowded. It's value priced to fit any budget.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

A truly beautiful cave system. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I am a bit claustrophobic but this cave only had one place that made me nervous.

“Beautiful”

You need to do ok in caves. It is a long walk , but the falls themselves are well worth it. Bring a jacket and wear shoes - lots of wet floors.
