This was the by far the best B&B we ever stayed at and my husband and I have stayed at many; excellent over the top service & Vikki is the best!!!! Hope to go back there this year. We went on our anniversary the July right before my husband deployed to Cuba with the Army for a year back in July 2003!!! Such a great time!!!! We stayed in the Green room and the views from the balcony were breathtaking and watching the clouds lift in the mountains in the mornings was beautiful. We even got to experience a thunderstorm and even that was exciting to watch up in the mountains. Vikki went above & beyond spoiling us!! She even took us to a square dance and country bbq in town. We had so much fun!!! We wish we lived a bit closer so we could go back more to visit. I love Tennessee and this B&B is the BEST~!!!! Love ya Vikki; never will forget you and hope to see you again soon. **The click down box asks when we traveled but only would let us go back to Nov 2011 and we traveled in July 2003

Summer heat has given way to summer rains. But no matter, plenty of hours for hiking, swimming, boating, biking or exploring these beautiful mountains. When you visit the Iron Mountain Inn B&B, there are not enough hours in a day or a week to accomplish everything there is to do in Johnson County and surrounding states. After all, we are snuggled between Boone, NC and Damascus/Abingdon, VA. We like to say, "we are 45 minutes from everything", and plenty to do right on the 140 acres surrounding the Inn.Watauga Lake is just down the road for fishing, swimming, and boating.Virginia Creeper Trail is just over the mountain for downward biking. But many guests enjoy just relaxing on our open decks in the rocking chairs while we offer them our "Pampering Perfected" service. Cold drinks and snacks including the famous Iron Mountain Inn B&B chocolate chip cookies.Come, share the magic of the mountains.
