Which WICH is a sub sandwich chain. It is one of the more recent additions to the Nashville area.
The subs are made to order in a neat way. You pick a paper bag, use a pen to check off the items you want on the sub, and then hand it to the cashier. You can request toasted or untoasted, and many different condiments. You pay, get your drinks and chips, then wait. They call you up and you receive the sub sandwich wrapped in wax paper, aluminum foil, and placed in the paper bag you used to order the sub.
The subs are tastier than Jimmy Johns (which serves their sandwiches cold, really bad if you are ordering something normally hot) Quiznos (who also toast subs, but sprinkle seasoning on everything to cover the bland meats) and Subway (less quality, tasteless meats) and are price comparable to Jimmy Johns.
The sides are interesting. They make their own potato chips (salt and pepper) and have the standard variety of Lay's brand. The think that really sets them apart are the milkshakes. Excellent flavor, and consistency. Better than most in the area.
The interior is simple - with stained plywood as the most prevalent item used for "decoration." This is similar to Chipotle Mexican Grill, and other newer "fresh food fast" restaurant types. Sometimes they do have the music up a bit too loud.
The Service is excellent. They will come out and explain the process (yes, there is a small learning curve) on how to order and what is best.
This is a Children Friendly restaurant. They have meals designed specifically for young children.
How to get the best value: Get their punch card, after buying 10 meals, you get the 11th free. Also sign up on their website for emailed specials.
NOTE: This is a simple sub shop. Not a high dollar restaurant. They do what they do well.
