Stopped into Judge Beans several times now. Super little local place. Unique country BBQ joint decor with a Texas slant in my opinion. The place smells great, too. It's that smoky BBQ smell, that makes you hungry! I have tried several things: the tamales, the brisket taco, the catfish taco, shrimp diablo, and sides of beans and okra. Margarita is great to wash it all down. Looks like they had a good selection of beers, and some interesting sounding drink concoctions on the menu as well. All of the above items were just super. The shrimp diablo is a jalapeno pepper stuffed with a shrimp and cheese and wrapped in bacon. Hot, but yummy!
The BBQ sauce is spicy and goood! I am sure to return, because I would like to try the ribs (saw them on another person's plate) and the sausage (recommended by my server in the bar). Also the employees and servers are first rate, friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. Be sure to tip them well, they work hard, too! If you love BBQ you will certainly love this place.
