“Not a three star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

Stayed here for one night. It should be listed on priceline as a two star hotel not three. It was just ok. A little seedy looking. Smallest bathroom I have ever seen....maybe even a little dangerous. Our room had stains on the carpet. On a positve note, the breakfast was better than most of these complimentary breakfasts. Had a quiet good nights sleep. The price for a room was very low so I have to say it was a good value.

I really enjoyed my one night stay here. The rooms were quite clean, roomy, and contained a huge couch, desk, king bed and a huge HD TV. The bathroom was perhaps a bit smallish and not overly cutting edge modern, but functional for a business hotel. The free breakfast was great, with a nice lounge and bar in the lobby for people to hang out. Plus I liked the Starbucks coffee in the lobby and availability of pastries and "grab n' go items". Staff was decent and cheerful. The only "negative" perhaps is I prefer large, dense feather pillows. The ones they had were short and light.

All in all, though, a winner for a business traveler.

We stayed at this Hyatt Place during a busy sports weekend in Nashville. The rooms were available on time, despite what appeared to be a full hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We always love the large flat-screen TV and couch at Hyatt Place. The lobby area was well equipped and staffed. The food at the continental breakfast was perfect for a quick bite before leaving. Overall, this Hyatt Place performed as expected.

First impression- check in should not be same area as bar- Seemed tacky. When we entered our room, a gift bag was on our desk- It was from someone's wedding party... obviously the room I reserved was not the room we got. The bathroom/shower was extremely small- 2x4 maybe? No private area to dress- a bit uncomfortable when sharing room. The air conditioning was very temperamental- kept having to get up throughout the night and adjust for comfort. The bar was expensive and definitely lacking with choices. Also, bar bills amongst friends had inconsistent pricing. Breakfast items were adequate but nothing special- not enough seating to accomodate patrons. For this area of Brentwood, TN., I honestly expected an overall better experience at the Hyatt... left disappointed.

We stayed here earlier this year and they hotel had a lot of issues regarding staff and particularly breakfast related things.

We tried it again and I was very surprised at the improvements. Seemed like a completely different staff and the issues from the 1st stay had been resolved.

Kudos to the management at this Hyatt for improvement! I will stay here again.

Nicely renovated room that was big and comfortable this time too!

Jim

Our recent stay at this Hyatt Place was pleasant enough...nice staff, good location, but this one was definitely not up to the standards of the other Hyatt Places where we have stayed. Don't get me wrong, it still has a great breakfast and spacious rooms, but the 6th floor room that we were given had a musty odor that you couldn't quite put your finger on. Not enough to cause a fuss, but just enough to make you wonder! Plus I was a bit disappointed that the pool was closed when it was 80 degrees last weekend, but I suppose that is what they have to do in October? Just wished I would have asked that in advance! Overall, I would still stay here again, but would not pay as much as I do for some other Hyatts. Glad I got the 3 night Autumn Discount special rate!

This hotel is a little confusing to find via GPS, but it is worth it. Very nice safe area with shopping very close. Great spot if you are going to Franklin to site see. The room was very nice, clean and very comfy. Front desk folks were wonderful along with the hostesses for breakfast.
