Visiting our son at college, we have tried many hotels in the area. The value here is impressive; we had a king suite which included full breakfast for two for less than we paid elsewhere with NO breakfast. My breakfast choices included a nice breakfast sandwich, fresh fruit with yoghurt, banana (for the road), coffee, and juice. There was also the usual donuts, dry cereal, cooked oatmeal (hubz said it was better than instant), sweet rolls, etc. as well as a coffee bar where you could pay extra for lattes, etc. Front desk staff was very nice....though the "front desk" looked like part of the cafe.
Other plusses; the clock radio accommodates your IPod and the big flat-screen television has a full input-output panel in case you want to use the room for presentations.

Stayed a Saturday night. The hotel was full.

Room was huge, exactly as shown on the website. Couch and desk area with a split wall dividing the bed and bath area. Bed was comfortable, sheets were very soft, with the sheet-blanket-sheet and cover combo. Pillows were REALLY soft....I asked the desk if they had any firmer, and they said no, there was only one kind of pillow in the hotel. Hallway carpet was nasty but room was very clean.

The bathroom is very small, as others have said, but I'm small too, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The shower pressure is really great. Acquafresh toothpaste.

There is no microwave, so it was hard to make tea in the morning. They do provide one English Breakfast packet and one Earl Grey packet. Internet worked great.

The fitness room is very nice....gym-grade LIfeFitness equipment (the TVs are on the equipment) and weights, towels, water. There is plenty of parking out back of the hotel.

Elevators are slow. The breakfast was NUTS....there is ample seating but the buffet area is too small for the crowd. Oatmeal (runny), fruit, dry cereal, pastries, egg mc-muffin sandwiches and pancakes. Eh, I've had better.

Overall, it was fine. I'd stay again.

The staff was great. Very helpful in every respect. Hotel was very clean as was our room. The free breakfast was very good. Checking in and out was hassel free. We hope to stay there again on our way south this year.

Room Tip: I like a room that I can see my car from but I don't think there are any bad rooms.

Stayed here two nights on business and the hotel has friendly staff and a wonderful free breakfast (french toast/breakfast sandwiches/fruit/plus the usual free items). The hotel elevator and mild odor on the 5th floor (hall and rooms) shows the structure's age. I would stay here again, but will look around to see if I can find something else in the $100 range.

The rooms are huge and well-appointed. Our rooms had a separate room with desk, sofa and fridge/sink area. Excellent value if you don't mind a little age on the parts not updated.

Room Tip: One side faces downtown and the other a parking lot.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Brentwood on August 31 after a quick run to Nashville, it was kind of last minute that we stayed and didn’t drive back to Memphis, so just needed an overnight place. I usually read tons of reviews just to stay somewhere for a night, but didn’t in this case. I had stayed at another nearby hotel before, and thought I might as well try somewhere different. The hotel was very busy because there were a couple of kids sports teams staying there, but they had a king room left at a reasonable rate. The three girls working the front desk were super efficient even though it was kind of a madhouse with all the kids and parents. They were all friendly, I talked to CeCe on the phone first to make sure there was a room. They were nice enough to put us in a different part of the hotel, and they even have a little bar/café there in the lobby. The room was great. It was kind of a suite with a huge sectional couch with ottoman and a wet bar with refrigerator in the front, and a half wall separating the bedroom area. There was a safe, desk with wi-fi too. The huge wall mounted TV can be swiveled to whatever part of the room you are in, really a good design. The bed was super comfy with a fluffy duvet and lots of pillows. The bath was adequate and had a nice granite vanity with plenty of room. The bathtub toilet are is small, but my 6’3” husband didn’t complain-they have the curved shower rod which helped. Their check out was noon, always a plus. The hot breakfast had pre-made egg, ham, & cheese on English muffins, as well as muffins, donuts, cereal, fruit, waffles, different juices and coffees. They have lots of places to sit, like in a restaurant, but we took ours back upstairs and read the paper. The pool was locked while we were there, but it looked nice and there were picnic tables out back and a smoking area. All of the staff we encountered cleaning and in the halls were helpful and nice. I will definitely stay there again when I’m in the Cool Springs/Brentwood area of Nashville. Tons of restaurants in immediate area, we went to J Alexanders and had a great meal.

What a lovely hotel! The environment is warm, inviting and the staff are friendly. The decor in the lobby and the rooms is modern and elegant at the same time. We felt like VIP travelers. It was so quiet at night, and we slept well. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've ever seen! We booked online, so check in was a breeze. They slipped a receipt under our door, so there was absolutely nothing to do for check out other than to wave goodbye. Very efficient! Well done Hyatt! We'll be looking for more of your hotels in our future trip planning!

Room Tip: It is a totally smoke free hotel, so all the rooms are good!
