Clean, neat, well maintained - Owner and his adult supervisor (aka wife) live on the property fulltime and are well known to all the campers. They care about their property and provide clean, neat, and well maintained laundry-room, showers, toilets and a meeting room/gathering place (in inclement weather) - the barn. additionally, the pool is cleaned thoroughly every spring, and the water is as clean as anyone could find.
The distance from the highway mutes traffic noise so it is not a bother at night. I have stayed at the KOA campground, and will never do so again - the highway noise is loud. the other campground may have improved from the first time I saw it several years ago, but is also right on the highway.
