I thought this was a very nice room for the $62 walk-in rate we received.

We just stayed overnight on way back from ND.

We received a large king room. Bed was extremely comfortable. Very clean.

The room had all the amenities you generally need - toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, face wipe, lotion, soaps), coffeemaker (with basket of single serve coffees, tea, apple cider), Iron/Ironing board,
free wi-fi, satellite TV with lots of channels plus HBO.

Bathroom had outside vanity area with lots of counter area, private area with a toilet and a large jacuzzi tub that I took advantage of and felt great! (Although I am not sure if all rooms have this feature, or only the King rooms? I don't see it mentioned as a feature
on their website).

Other property features included an indoor large whirlpool and sauna.
Pool was outdoors, and was obviously not open when we were there in October. There also was a laundry room (didn't use).

Free continental breakfast with fruit, toast, cereals, juice, milk, coffee, and waffle bar.

I also posted some pictures of our room. Overall was a great room with
all desirable amenities and would definitely stay again.

Clean , quiet, comfortable,convienient, and $ 65 for 2 Queens, coffemaker, etc. What's not to like ?

There's a 24 hour restaurant right next door with good food and reasonable
prices. They have a very large display over the kitchen area
that lists the names of deceased former loyal customers. No,
the patrons did not die from the cooking. I asked (naturally) and they
apparently have heard it before, so no need to ask again.

I was greatly impressed with the gas station just across the street.
They let you pump your gas BEFORE you pay. It was just like home.
EVERY gas station we stopped at that was west of Iowa required pre-
payment. Great to see that some areas still trust their customers.

Great location if wanting to go to Deadwood or other attractions - right off highway 90. VERY friendly staff...very clean rooms....nice pool and hot tub. Will stay again!

Apparently, this motel has a new name. It's now the Best Western Black Hills Lodge. We enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast selections. Outdoor pool, indoor hot tub. Lobby area smelled like cigarette smoke (maybe desk clerk smoked in office?), but our room was fine. The Millstone Restaurant next door was good family spot.
