We stayed here during my wife's USF graduation weekend due to its cheap rates and great location. however, the pool was "shut down for maintenance (translation= broken-down)," the rooms were falling apart (peeling wallpaper and soiled carpets), and the mattresses were worn out. While a continental breakfast was offered, the customer service was non-existant (limited and impolite staff). i also left an iPod in a dresser and called back to inquire about it only to hear "It's probably stolen by now" later that evening. Do not stay here!

Rooms were over priced, no notice of pool being closed until after room was paid for (pool was the one thing we were looking forward too). Had to pay $5 per night for a disgusting flat ripped up cot. Heater would not work, staff was very rude and LAZY!! Had to get everything ourselves nothing was brought to the room. Shower would frequently get cold then extremely hot. Asked for extra towels and got pool towels. Parking was terrible, big huge pot holes. Loud traffic especially at night. Extremely loud music from cars on the roads passing in front of the hotel. Rooms were old and disgusting. Stained carpets, peeling wall paper. Our brochure in the room stated the WRONG time for breakfast therefore we were late so we couldn't eat. No iron, microwave, or fridge in room like stated on the website. Asked for a microwave and they said it was locked up. Would not stay here again, would rather sleep in our car!! Would not recommend to anybody!!

Negatives too numerous to mention. Nasty peeling wall paper that was stained. Dark bathroom with shower stall only, so dark with curtain drawn, it was scary. Carpet was disgusting and the one brief moment I stepped on in without shoes, it felt sticky. Didn't have internet in the room, even though it was advertised. Sounded like cars racing out in front all night. I didn't feel safe where I had to park....it's dark and behind a business and the parking lot has HUGE craters in it that would damage a car if you ran in it. I can't believe Choice Hotels allows this.

Avoid this place. The carpeting was filthy. The wall paper was peeling. The garage in front of the motel had people gunning their engines and playing music as loud as possible until early morning.
Really the worst place I've ever stayed in.

BED BUGS!!!!!!!!! It was so HORRIBLE AND GROSS!!!!
I reserved rooms with this Rodeway Inn for my husband, myself, and my sister-in-law's family and friends. My sister-in-law decided to stay a second night and was given a different room for their second night's stay. She and the others that shared a room with her woke up in the morning with numerous BED BUG BITES on them and small fresh blood stains on the sheets where the bugs had been smashed during the night as my sister-in-law and the others tossed in their sleep. My sister-in-law actually had a live bed bug crawling on her arm in the morning and had bites on her neck, legs and eyelid. As they looked around the room, they found several dead bed bugs in the room also. She and the others suffered with these gross bed bug bites for several days. Plus, she had to make sure that none of the luggage got taken into her home. Having no choice, she had to put the luggage in her car upon her return home, thus possibly bringing the nasty critters into her car. Once she got home she had to deal with the bed bugs in her luggage, clothes and possibly still being on her body.

The room that my husband and I stayed in for two nights and the room that my sister-in-law and family stayed in the first night, evidently, did not have bed bugs in it, YET. However, we all had to take extreme caution inspecting our luggage for several days and vaccuming every crevice, seam, and inch of the our luggage over and over again. All of our clothes, coats, and jackets had to be washed in hot water and dried on high heat. We all itched for a week just thinking about it !!!

This place is a DUMP. Wallpaper peeling off the walls; Base trim missing from hallway (pulled off and never replaced); outside doors stick; bed so soft you felt trapped in it; noisy A/C unit. It reminded me of a "no tell motel". Most of the rooms had a view of the rear of neigboring businesses, thus did not feel very safe. Definitely not up to Rodeway standards.

I can't believe this place! These unprofessional employees are full of tatoos, which does not look professional when I am meeting clients for business. Also, some guy who works there was walking around with a Mickey Mouse hat--great impression. They should spend more time keeping the place cleaner, so I don't find anymore hairs in the tub.
