“The best hotel in Sioux Falls!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2010

The staff was helpful and exceeded all my expectations. The room was excellent, and extremely clean. The hotel airport shuttle was always prompt, and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Brimark!

Based on the price and the reviews on Trip Advisor, I chose to stay at the Brimark in Sioux Falls on a recent business trip. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly upon arrival and departure and the hotel was quaint and clean. I had a great nights sleep on a comfortable bed, free Wi Fi and an adequate breakfast all for $50 a night.

The location was only 5 minutes from the Civic Center where I was doing business and just off the freeway. The only drawback to the location was the hotel next to it that is in the process of being torn down.

When we pulled up, we noticed a vacant, run down hotel, which made us wonder, because it still has the Brimark name on it, but as you drive a little bit further, you see the current hotel. It is not located on I-90, so if you are looking for a hotel that is, this one isn't. We stayed here because of the reviews and figured why not. The front desk clerk was a very nice lady as we didn't have reservations. The pool was nice, but was no frills. If you were lucky enough, you got there when no one was there and were able to get a chair that was in one piece not falling apart. Pool did need some cosmetic work, but other than that, a nice pool. We did not find the hot tub until we were checking out the next day. The breakfast was nice and we did have Wi-Fi in our room, which was a plus for my children. The beds were ok, nothing to write home about. Not really close to anything, but if you don't mind driving around, it isn't bad. My son did like the skatepark in town which was right by the waterpark which was very nice. Overall, we will be coming back to the Brimark Inn.

If you're expecting the Marriott, this isn't for you. The place was slightly dated and you won't find a flat screen TV in your room. However, the hotel was well kept and very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only thing that they lacked was a waffle maker at the continental breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again.

The bottom line is you can't beat this place for the price.

To me this hotel screamed "Family owned and operated" in a very good way. Its a bit outdated, but it is located right off the highway (good for people just passing through like myself) with clean, quiet, secure rooms. The continental breakfast was simple but had a very pleasant group passing through as well. The pool looked great - though i didnt get to swim and i would not hesitate to go back.

I had never heard of the Brimark Inn and was a little nervous about what we would find. What a wonderful surprise. Check in was efficient. Our room was huge. King size bed with a very comfortable couch. Everything was very clean and appeared to have been recently updated. The bathroom could not have been cleaner. Lots of towels and an excellent shower.
