“Great little find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

We were pleasantly suprised with this little find. A great price for a great room. Very clean & comfortable beds. Front desk was very nice & accomodating. The breakfast was decent. Dont be turned away by the outside as all the rooms are all refurnished! Very nice! Would stay there again if passing through!

Thank you for your kind comments and for staying with us. The exterior will be upgraded this winter, hopefully the next time you come through you won't recognize us. Happy travels!

At times we are leery to stay at off name hotels because so often it is merely a dilapidated hotel with a thin coat of fresh paint. As we first arrived we were in for a pleasant surprise.

While it is a far from a new hotel, it has been well updated, clean and appears to have had a decorators touch. We stayed on two separate occasions and were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Kudos to the recommended pizza joint.

Breakfast was good but somewhat limited selection.

My only complaint is that the rooms were dark. They need to put higher wattage bulbs in the dark lamp shades.

We will most diffidently stay there again.

Folks, don't let the outside fool you. This is NOT a "drive by and go to a chain hotel" moment. This entire property has been upgraded...the only thing not new in my room was the tub and the phone. EVERYTHING else was new! I've stayed in Hiltons that weren't as nice. It is very obvious the owners take a lot of pride in customer service and this carries over to their employees. Quiet, clean, great breakfast...and at a great price. They have an outside pool which is kept very warm and clean...it's one if the few nice deep pools left. Great stay!

Once again I wish there was something between average and very good. Because that's where The Brimark should be. It's trying hard in a market of big chains. It's old and showing signs of wear. The halls smell like cigarettes. The breakfast was just ok. The rooms are very neat and clean. When we get down to it, that's what is important. Heard no neighbors or dogs barking. The price is under three figures and that helps the budget. I would stay again.

Thank you for your comments and staying with us. It is our goal to provide the best value in Sioux Falls and are still working on the property. Our property has solid block walls and that makes for quiet rooms. We do have 8 smoking rooms but they are in their own section. Hope all your travels are memorable for good reasons!

We are getting ready to check out of this hotel, and I couldn't even wait to write the review because we are so pleased with this hotel. We are on a cross country road trip, and it's important to us to be able to find great values without having to compromise cleanliness and amenities. The rooms are newly renovated. They are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are sleek and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable, and you will definitely get a good night's sleep! The breakfast is good--waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc.--but what makes the breakfast so nice is the room. It's called The Farm Kitchen, and it's extremely charming. Pam, the breakfast attendant, was very nice and helpful. The pool is advertised as heated, which it definitely was! My husband and children were able to go swimming without freezing at 8:00 in the morning! We love the Brimark Inn and we would stay here again!

Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. This is not a new, sleek, cookie-cutter hotel; it is a nicely remodeled, reasonably-priced, quiet, and pleasant place to stay.

Spent one night on our trip out west. Really enjoyed the hotel..great renovations to the rooms and the breakfast room is bright and cheery. Breakfast selection is standard but if anyone is looking for more..suggest you go and pay for your breakfast!

The pool ladders need a little bit of work but once in the pool is great!

Didn't use the laundry facilities but this is also a nice addition when you are on the road.

Great value for the price we paid and would stay there again when passing through Sioux Falls!

Room Tip: Room 125 is at the back of the hotel..easy access to parking lot, laundry room and overall a nice qu...
