Being from New York, I have been searching for a great NY style pizza joint in the midwest. We stopped here on our way to the Black Hills, despite some tough reviews on TripAdvisor. We had excellent service from an attentive waitress who wasn't overbearing. Very polite! While I wouldn't pretend that the pizza was remotely close to Famous Ray's in NY (or Original Ray's, take your pick) it was better than many other places in the Upper Midwest. I topped off my dinner with a nice IPA from South Dakota's Crow Creek brewery. Good flavor!
Not many places here even serve canolis, and the 'Taste of the Big Apple' did it right. Very nice!
