“Limestone Gem Perched on Hill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

The cathederal was closed when we stopped by after dinner. Perched on an advantageous hill spot overlooking the city, the limestone structure with stained glass is absolutely gorgeous. It's a true surprise to find a cathederal like this in a city this size, very impressive architectural gem.

“Come, pray and reflect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

A true "Cathedral on the Prairie." The twin spires of the Cathedral hover over the city of Sioux Falls like a watching mother hen. When I am in Sioux Falls I like to go to the weekday Noon Mass at St. Joseph's. It is a nice time to reflect, and give thanks. Also it is a time ponder the holy mysteries as so beautifully portrayed in the Cathedral's artwork. It truly is the "Gospel written in stone."

The post card of Sioux Falls. Breathtaking. It was all restored two years ago, and overlooks the city.

“Beautiful church a must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

Wow. This is very beautiful church, we didn't get to go inside because there was a a wedding but we were able to peek through it.
Abut at the back of the church there's a small chapel... If you have a chance you must see this one. It's like being in Europe...it's worth visiting.

“Beautiful Church”

The main and side altars are spectacular. You got to check out the beautiful statue of St Joseph in the front of the church.
