“Not living up to first impressions”

I stayed a week. I'm a Hilton Honors member. Don't get me wrong, this is overall a nice hotel. The hotel is remodeling and the workers were very quiet, which I appreciated on the couple of days my jet lag caught up to me and I slept during the afternoon. The only complaint I have is the breakfast. The breakfast area is in line with the main doors and every time the doors opened the cold air would rush in and send a chill into the room. One breakfast served some kind of steak and eggs and I found a hair in it which ruined my appetite. Another breakfast served scrambled eggs and they had to be the worst tasting (powdered?) eggs I’ve ever eaten. I stayed at this hotel this fall and two years ago. Same problem with cold air, but the breakfast was great.

STAY MANY NIGHTS PER YEAR AT THIS HOTEL. Always good service and good rooms. They are undergoing a renovation so will be even better in the future. Very good stay in Sioux Falls, easy to walk to restaurants, coffee shop, and conveniences.

We have stayed in many hotels throughout the United States; this one definitely gets two thumbs up. Tasteful decor, beautiful cherry woodwork, room had a refrigerator and microwave. Free breakfast with many choices. Cereal, fruit, French toast sticks. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Pool and exercise room were a little on the small side, but everything else was perfect. Excellent location near Empire Mall and many restaurants. Highly recommend!

Terrible scrambled "eggs." Not edible. Entire second floor hallways being painted so strong smell. Room OK. 10:25 pm fire alarm goes off n takes half hour to shut off. Not a great experience. Do not recommend.

We had very good customer service, the rooms were exceptionally clean, and the proximity to an excellent Brazillian Grill made our stay very nice. I did find one strange perc for becoming a Hampton Club Card member: Spouse stays free. Isn't this the norm?

Our room was clean and the bed, as in other Hamptons, was good. The vanity in the bath area was very small. It was at an angle in the corner of the bath. Our air was very noisy. It didn't cool sufficiently and we couldn't turn the fan to constant on. Our breakfast consisted of dry eggs and French toast sticks.

We stayed here on our way home from Montana and as usual were not disappointed. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We were leaving very early Saturday morning and even though they usually don't do the breakfast bags to go, when we asked about getting a couple, they were very nice and got them for us.
