We are staying here for a wedding. We arrived late last night, and immediately I noticed the loud groups of people just hanging out around outside smoking. The location of this hotel isn't bad, but there is a lot of construction going on around the area.

After checking in, we proceeded to go to our room, walking over tattered, stretched out carpet badly in need of replacement. When we finally reached the elevator, we were not surprised that it was not working. There were no out of order signs to be seen. Whenever you'd press the call button, you'd hear a loud bang and clunking sound. We notified the front desk of the issue.

The room that we booked had two queen beds. The room itself wasn't too bad - however it definitely was in need of a thorough cleaning. There was dust in quite a few places, what appeared to be a used toothpick on the top of the TV cabinet, and something on the floor behind the door in the bathroom.

The big draw to this hotel appears to be the "water attraction" - which consists of a couple of water slides and pools. I really wonder how the people that have rooms that face this can sleep at night? The water area is extremely loud whenever there are lots of people there. Of course, that's not the only area that's loud. The halls in general almost seemed like a college dormitory, based on the people running down the halls making tons of noise at 11 PM at night.

Overall, this hotel is in bad need of some work, especially considering how much they charge per night for rooms. It's not a 1 star hotel, but it is pushing the envelope pretty close! It reminds me of a place you'd see on the new series "hotel impossible!"

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. First and foremost, we want to apologize for any issues that you may have had during your stay. We can assure you that the elevator has been fixed, and our staff does their best to ensure that noise levels stay down during quiet hours. However, our water park is a huge hit with children, and sometimes it does get a little loud from them having so much fun. We have addressed housekeeping issues with our staff, as a less than perfect room is unacceptable. We do hope that you will give us another chance and come see us again.
