I booked this based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. From check-in to departure all was great. Staff from reception to breakfast area are all friendly and helpfull. Room was a good size (we had a 1-bedroom suite) and very clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. It is true what some travellers mentioned that the hotel is popular with groups. On the second day we were their 3 buses with teenagers arrived. The breakfast area was indeed full the next morning so you should either go very early or go after 8am. Even though such a large group overwhelmed the breakfast area the staff consistantly managed to maintain the supply of all breakfast items. Great location on the outskirts of the town and adjacent to Rushmore Mall.

Having stayed at the Radisson and Hotel Alex Johnson in Rapid City the Country Inn and Suites were a welcome relief.

Further away from downtown but ten times nicer, well worth it if you have a car.

Nice rooms (we had two room suite) in quiet location with free breakfast thrown in.

Front desk lady was lovely and very helpful. Best hotel in Rapid City!!

We appreciate the consistent quality of Country Inn and Suites and this was no exception. We were especially impressed with the pleasant and attentive service from the front desk who greeted us with a smile despite a bit of a "rush" at the time of check in. Breakfast was good and the room was spacious and clean. We would stay here on our next visit to Rapid City.

great deal. very friendly staff. terrific place to stay with kids. The breakfast is great and they have coffee and fruit all day. They have cookies all day and at 5 p.m. the hotel serves soup. The pool has a water slide and there are 2 hot tubs. The staff is very helpful with restaurant info and gave us discount tickets for the Watiki, the indoor water park . A great place to stay and see the Black Hills.
