Watch out for the bumper cars. The restraints are not very good and some awesome hits can be delivered, so pain can occur The doubles go karts go slower than other ones and found the one doubles was even slower than it's counter part. Still had a good time, but price is a bit steep.

i went with 2 friends and it was my first time driving a gocart, totaly sold, loved it and had a blast!

This was our kids' very favorite thing out off all the site seeing we did in Rapid City and the Black Hills! We saw their website and knew how expensive things were - go carts are $4.50 for 5 minutes! But it's an indoor track and we went when the local kids still had school so we had the place to ourselves other than 2 other people. But I can imagine what a loud, noisy nightmare that place could be on evenings and weekends.

We spent $55 and did 3 things total. Our two kids did the bumper cars and hated it! The area is very small and they didn't move the empty cars out of the way so they kept hitting them.

Then we did the slot cars - DON'T waste your money on them. The cars NEVER stay on the tracks. The employee knew that as she gave us a "claw/arm" to get the cars from the center of the track when they fly off. Even when we put them back on the track, the cars didn't always go and needed someone to hold the go lever down while a second person had to push the car along the track to make a connection.

The third thing we did was the go carts. They were fun (since we had the track to ourselves) - our kids could have done that for hours but we couldn't afford it! It was so fun for them to drive the cars. It is indoors and the gas fumes give you a headache after a short while. Luckily, the ride was only 5 mins - I feel sorry for the workers who breathe it all day long. They did have several huge fans running which I'm sure helped some as without the fans - it would have been much worse.

Our kids would LOVE to go again but it is just too expensive. But glad we went and enjoyed the go carts as the slot cars and bumper cars were such a disapppointment.
