My wife and I were passing through the city during a coast-to-coast move. We didn't plan out where we would stay each night, but know there had to be hotels that would accept pets (caged birds). At a rest stop about an hour from Rapid City I looked up hotels on www.petswelcome.com and this was one of the first listings. I called the hotel to confirm their pet policy and Patrick advised it would not be a problem to accommodate the birds as long as I could assure him they would be relatively quiet. Easy check in (Patrick remembered speaking to "the bird man") and a noticably clean and comfortable lobby/room. Breakfast was very good and well stocked, even with the small college men's and women's basketball teams that stayed the same night.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Great breakfast and large breakfast room. Room was very comfortable and clean, everything worked as expected.

Will stay there again without hesitation. The location is in a good location and access to the interstate. Plenty of meal choices in the area of the hotel or at least in close proximity. All area attractions are very clos to the property also.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Thanksgiving. Requested 4th [top] floor [hate having people above me stomping!]. It was unavailable but person at check-in was very helpful & gave me room at end of hallway of 3rd floor - very quiet. Comfortable king bed, plenty of towels, fridge & microwave. Nice hot tub & pool. Usual breakfast items you'd find around now - waffles, toast, rolls - but also eggs or biscuits/gravy, which was nice. Free USA Today.

This is located on the edge of town, and doesn't have the waterslide-type pool of some of the other hotels, but being a single traveler it was perfect for me - no herds of kids running around. Those families stay at other places.

I recently had a birthday celebration for my 5 year old grandson. He was leary of water over his head, but when we gathered at Sleep Inn & Suites last weekend, the family witnessed something truly wonderful. He had his life-jacket on,water was warm,family and friends all around. He had the time of his life,jumped in deep-end,was no longer afraid to get wet. The room held his cousins,2 friends, himself and his mom. The shower was so large,it was fun-time to rinse off from the pool. These accommodations definately made his party a time to remember. That means alot of a grandma. Would recommend Sleep Inn & Suites to everyone. Breakfast food, fit for a King, especially hungry little mouths to feed. We definately will visit these facilities again.
