“Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Worth a stop if you're on Route 44 in the western side of Rapid City. A replica of a chapel in Norway, it also has a small museum/gift shop. There is a path through the woods. The site radiates serenity.

“Norwegian Chapel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

This is a nice scandinavian chapel that is a replica of one located in Norway. great photo opportunities. There is also a prayer walk with statues located behing the chapel. There is a small museum on the grounds, that is a replica of a lig cabin you would find in Norway. Great place to stop for about half an hour.

“Worth the Time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Stop and see this - it is something you won't likely see out of Denmark. The prayer walk is short but very inspirational - plan to take your time at each station.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

The history and work that goes into maintaining this chapel is outstanding. It is very breath taking especially to see it during changing seasons. I used to live near by and would drive by just to see everything covered in snow during winter.

“Peaceful but nothing more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

The main chapel as seen in the pictures has some nice craftsmanship but I found the few bats that were living in the outside over hangs more interesting. Chapel was quite a bit smaller than i thought it would be. My wife loved the stop and spent about an hour wondering around the site.
