We went to Alpine Inn with friends - their recommendation - and it was fantastic! We arrived at 4:30 pm - first dinner seating begins at 5:00 pm. The bar waiting area was packed. We enjoyed a lovely glass of German wine while we waited for the doors to open. The dinner menu is limited - you have the choice of a 6 ounce or 9 ounce bacon wrapped filet mignon - $9.95 or $11.95. The steak comes with a wedge of lettuce and homemade ranch dressing and baked potato. They were done to perfection and almost melted in our mouth. Service was excellent and wait staff friendly.
We were too full to try the dessert menu but will consider it next time we are in the area. Their lunch menu features lots of German meal choices and looks like it would be fun to try. We will definitely be back!
