“We visit almost every year.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

The wines here are all first rate. My wife and I always stop here when we come out from Pennsylvania. There is free wine tasting available, and you are sure to find something you like. From postcards to t-shirts, their merchandise is unique. This is a must stop in Hill City.

“Best experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

My daughter and took a short trip to South Dakota in May. A friend had recommended we should stop at the Prairie Berry Winery. We were visiting Mount Rushmore which is very close to Hill City and decided to go there for lunch. I am glad we did. The winery was one of our favorite places on our trip. We each tasted 5 wines at no cost. The woman who poured for us was very helpful in selecting the wines we tasted. After our tasting we ordered lunch. I had the BLT open faced sandwich and my daughter had the Salmon open faced sandwich. They were both delicious. We each enjoyed a glass of wine with our lunch. We throughly enjoyed the 2 hours we spent there and would recommend it for the food and the wine.

“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

My wife and I stop here on every trip to the Hills. Great place with great wines. Always sample the wine and they have great free samples of different jellies and honey. Great atmosphere. We have never eaten here but go for the wine which tastes great.

“1st rate !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

Love this place! Wine is delicious! Bit $$ but overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, worth the price. Audrey rocks!
My favorite(s) are Pink Slip, followed by their signature Red A** Rhubarb and Lawrence Welk. Ask Audrey for a taste of the "grape-welches" wine, she convinced us we can have it for breakfast on our pancakes instead of syrup!!! lol

“Gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I aren't big wine drinkers but found this place on our way out of Hill City, and we were hungry. We thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant and at first were disappointed; however, we decided to stay and had a wonderful meal of hummus, pita, charcuterie and fresh baguettes with herb butter. It was delicious with a lovely view on the outside porch. They also serve soups, desserts and pizza. This was a nice change of pace from fast food and steak places. We bought some lovely wine to take with us. They do have wine tastings and everyone there was just lovely!
