“Nice hotel and staff very friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2010

We had 6 different rooms and even 1 was a smoking suite and none of us smoke, but it was ok, didn't smell like smoke. Rooms unique in their own way with the decor and size. Very nice. Clean would stay again. Staff was very helpful and friendly at all times.

After my Wife and I endured a night at the Franklin Hotel, we decided to give the Celebrity Hotel a shot at our business, and boy that was the best decision that we made… The price was $99.00 per night and the best money we spent in Deadwood, SD. The rooms were ASUME, the beds were the best sleep we’ve ever had. The Hotel was built in 2005. The bathrooms were very nice and good water pressure. The staff went out of their way to make sure you were taking good care of. They have internet access. Very cool interior with a good bunch of Celebrity Memorabilia from Mash, TV Show’s, Cars, Motor Cycles, and cool clothing. It’s a mini museum and very cool. I would highly recommend staying there if you get a chance to go. We went to see Mt. Rushmore and that was Assume as well. It’s only about a 30 min drive from the city of Deadwood.

Well if I am in Deadwood SD, you can bet I will be staying here again. It is truly a beautiful hotel with luxury rooms that in no way remind you that you are in South Dakota. The rooms are luxurious with every amenity you could want (even a heated towel bar in the granite bathroom!!). It really is beautiful. The hotel itself has a casino (which is every hotel in Deadwood) but this one by far had the best accommodations. We had a nonsmoking room which really did not smell of smoke. The lobby was nauseatingly smokey but that seemed to be the general theme in all the hotels there (as with most casinos!). The hotel boasts a Hollywood movie set theme which we really enjoyed checking out. It was a great hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was very reasonably priced as well.

I found the Celebrity Hotel surprisingly comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nice and quiet with a well designed bathroom. The casinos on the first floor were not a problem. There is no pool or exercise room, and the free breakfast gets a C-. I would stay here again.

Clean, accomodating, very nice bathrooms, centrally located. Will stay their again for sure. Let us check in early and had a small breakfast in the morning at the bar. Neat displays of cars and old vintage movie props and costumes.

Took my friend to Deadwood for her birthday. Location, people, and scenery were great. Hotel is probably about as good as it gets in Deadwood. Lot nicer than many many others. Very small casino, not much for amenities, cafe, limited bar, but clean and friendly. Told on phone 3A honored, but went to check out and already had charged my card and seemed like effort for the lady to correct her error. Would probably stay again. Just not lot in way of nice lodging in Deadwood.
