“Great Food at a Great Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

This is definitely not a fancy restaurant. When you walk in there is a list of rules posted on the hostess stand, not very welcoming. It is very dated and reminds me of the 70's. The wait staff is friendly but seemed rushed. The bread was dry and tasted old. However all of this was forgotten once we got the food. The soup, meatballs and tiramisu were some of the best I have ever had. The price are reasonable and the portion sizes are huge. We will be back!

“Great Food, Great value, family run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

doesn't look like much curb appeal but the food, service and value are great. Tuesday night special at $6.99. Wed night senior discount. Huge lunch portions with low price. Do not miss the chicken francaise or veal parm. Lia D'antonia Wandasiewicz's grandma from Little Italy in Brooklyn provided the recipes and her husband from polish Detroit turns them into great food. There's more than pasta here on the menu. looking for romance? Ask Lia to seat you in the back dinning area. We are regulars and just like Cheers, everybody knows your name. Tell them Annie and Smiling Ed sent you

“The Food is Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

This unassuming little restaurant is truly what I would call a neighborhood gem. We have been going there for a couple of years now and I notice they've had to expand their dining area to accomodate the growing number of diners. It's no surprise that their business has grown--they have wonderful food. The cold antipasto platter is fabulous--peppers, two different kinds of salami, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and a mozzarella that is to die for, all marinated in something that makes it extra delicious. The tomato sauce is zesty, not bland the way so many restaurants do it. Prices are moderate, atmosphere is casual.

“reliable good dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We eat at the Pasta House often....it is close by, inexpensive, and the food and service are really fine. I would comment that the bread always tastes stale - very dry - and actually hasn't got a lot of flavor. I do wish they would change the bread. And of course the decor is pretty bad....various styles are there in profusion, nothing is coordinated, it could be so much more attractive. Too often when I go there are so few people....I wonder if a little sprucing up (including revamping the table placement to get rid of the gym feel...) wouldn't attract more people...... ? anyway....great food, reliable good dinner any time we go.
