If you're visiting North Myrtle Beach during the off season, Beach Cove Resort has some of the most affordable oceanfront suites available. We stayed in an oceanfront executive suite which consisted of two queen beds, 2 TV's, 1 DVD/VCR player, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink, small refrigerator, dining table with 2 chairs. sofa with sleeper and a balcony with 4 chairs and small table. The room layout is comfortable and the bath and bedroom are not intrusive to the living/kitchen area. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The staff is knowledegable and friendly. During our visit the resort was undergoing some renovations, but these did not interfere with our stay.
Not only does the resort offer an indoor pool and whirlpool, but the outside pools are heated. The outside pool area is most attractive. The resort offers an on-site restaurant, coffee shop/piano bar, arcade room, exercise room and a conference area. Although we didn't take advantage of all the offerings, their layout and decor were very nice.
The resorts affordability along with its location was our prime reasons for selecting to stay with Beach Cove. The resort is approximately one mile from Bare Foot Landing. Our primary reason for visiting was to take in a show at the House of Blues. The location was most convenient for our purposes. The parking garage is easy to navigate and connected to the resort. If price and location are primary concerns and you don't want to skimp on cleanliness and neatness, Beach Cove Resort is the place to stay.
