Great place to stay. Had a nice few days with beautiful weather. My granddaughter and daughter-in-law. Much fun. Went to see ONE at Allbama Theater and took the boat ride down the waterway, which were both great.

My wife, and two young daughters stayed here this past August. We stayed for 7 nights and stayed the last week in August. This was our second time there this year as we had stayed in April earlier. Overall we have stayed at this resort 5 times. We keep coming back so you we must like it! Upon arriving on a Saturday we were unable to get a room immediately because their computer system just went down. They ended up walking us to a room after about an hour so we could settle in. It wasn't until the next morning that we could get a key card. For our trouble they gave us each one free breakfast at their buffet. This was the first time we ever had this trouble, these sort of things can and do happen anywhere, I do not fault the resort for it.

The main thing to know when staying at Beach Cove is that all the rooms are owned privately and not by the resort. There are two types of owners here, one that allows Beach Cove to manage renting the rooms out (Seems the vast majority of rooms), and others that manage renting them their selves. If is important to note, if you don't book through Beach Cove, the Beach Cove staff can't help with too many items, you need to go back to who you rented the room from. We have always rented through Beach cove and their website http://www.beachcove.com.

When booking your room you will want to ask for an "updated room". Anytime we haven't, we have gotten a decent room, but the decor is dated and they are not as nice. This time we asked for an updated room and the kitchen area was beautiful and the room was overall much nicer.

This resort is great for families as it offers many pulls and hot tubs and is right on the beach! Every room has a balcony with an excellent Beach View. The pool areas are great, and the beach is magnificent!

The staff is always very nice and helpfull.

I have put a video review of our room on Youtube, you can view it here to see what the updated room is like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg5JDuzfMBU

The only two negative things about the resort is the breakfast buffet and the pricing of the tiki bar onsite. The breakfast buffet is around 10 dollars per person and in my opinion not one of the food offerings is good. I wish they would fix this. The buffet is the same everyday. The bar outside is nice and convenient but the pricing on the drinks could be more reasonable.

You really can't beat the location. It is right near Barefoot landing and it is easy to get anywhere in Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle.

I am looking forward to our next trip in the spring!

I browsed resorts for 3 months before finally booking with BeachCove. For the most part on reviews, everything seemed to be based on elevator operation and room cleanliness. While booking our stay, I did request an updated, higher rise room. This was my husband's and I first time in Myrtle Beach and was actually our Honeymoon. Upon arrival (late arrival as we drove from WNY) we were given an updated room on the top floor. The room was clean, everything worked and the view was amazing. The staff was friendly (always said hello and smiled) and even the other guests were great. We had a fantastic time and yes, the elevators were a little slow, but we were in no great hurry and not a big deal to us. We will most definately go back and bringing our kids too.

Room Tip: No room seemed to have a bad view. But of course the higher you go, the more you can see.

Room was clean and upkept. I've stayed here many times over the years so the hotel is older but didn't feel old and dirty. Pools were nice with plenty to choose from. Lazy River is not heated so it was cold but still fun. Overall, great stay!

We first were in 1209 in A tower and woke up the 2nd morning were there to a child crying at the top of their lungs and the parents let it cry for and hour straight and the child never stopped. We went ahead and got up because we couldn't go back to sleep and this was about 6:15 in the morning. The next morning same thing, same time but for about 2 hours straight. We made a call to the front desk and were told that Security would be there momentarily and well security never came. On our way to the beach the 2nd morning we stopped by the front desk and made a complaint and they only thing they could tell us was that they can move us to another room. Now, if my husband and I were arguing and had a complaint on us, we would've been asked to leave the premises. Breakfast was absolutely terrible the 1 morning that we ate and and wasted $20 on crap. Way too many kids for the time of year that we went and the rules for the pools and the pool deck were not followed. We had kids jumping in one of the hot tubs and splashing us in the face and no one did anything about it. If I complain about something, I expect something to be done about it and not just push us off.

Room Tip: Ask for a full fridge because we had asked for one in our preferences and they were going to give us...

We visited during Labor Day weekend in September, 2013. We stayed in a studio (2 queen beds plus pull out sofa bed). Three people shared this room which also had a small kitchenette and one bath. Plenty of storage space for a small room. The ad says four adults and two kids could share this space. I think it is too small for that many people; three of us was plenty for the space. Great view of the ocean with easy access to the beach. We stayed on the 5th floor Bldg C. Only miss was no to little hot water in the bathroom, and the sink did not drain well. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful for our entire stay (4 days,3 nights). Plenty of swimming pools for everyone of any age. Lazy river is for kids, not adults. Parking deck is very tight, but I liked that there was a walkway on the 3rd level over to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay or long weekend.

Room Tip: For families with 3-4 kids I would recommend a suite or 2-3 bedroom room.

A good vacation on Beach Cove (Sept 23 to 27). The rooms are large and adequate but probably need renovation in the next while. We used the kitchenette and everything was provided for an in-room meal. We intend to stay here again in April - all in all, we recommend this hotel, staff are excellent and parking is a breeze.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor and check to see if there are any renovated ones.
