This review is long overdue - we stayed at Seaside the third week of August 2007. It was a wonderful, wonderful vacation and Seaside was just awesome. It was a beautiful facility, everyone except the check-in clerk was very nice. The one who checked us in was grouchy, and rather rude too, but the other ones at the desk the rest of the stay were great. The room was just incredibe - big with lots of room - we were in a two-bedroom condo facing the ocean. The pools and lazy river were nice, but we spent most of our time on the beach.

The breakfast food was average, but Flo who works there made it worthwhile to be sure you went down for breakfast each day. She is an incredible lady, who took the time to try to know each and every guest, make them feel welcome and special, and I'm glad I got to know her. She is as sweet as can be.

The parking garage was probably our biggest complaint. The turns were very tight, and you had to be very careful something was not coming around the corner. They had big mirrors to help with that but it seemed silly they designed it that tight. Also, the air conditioning didn't reach into the bedrooms very well if you wanted to keep the bedroom door closed at night. It seems they mostly just kept the living room area cool and the bedroom would get hot at night. I did tell Seaside this in a survey they sent after I got home and they responded that they would check into it.

We really didn't use the maid service, we just wanted clean towels and such each day and they were very cooperative in giving us what we needed.

They had a computer with internet access in the lobby - it was nice to be able to go down and use it to keep up with emails and check websites for things to do in the area. There was only one though, so, if someone was there, you had to wait. It would be nice if there were two available.

We loved Seaside - the facility, the location, and the price wasn't too bad - my room was big enough for two families and it would even be great to go with someone and split it, then it would have been a real bargain.

We will definitely be back to North Myrtle Beach - and most likely stay at Seaside!!

Our family of five stayed here from November 23-26. We had a 3BR, 3B condo that was roomy and clean with modern decor. It was everything we could have hope for and more.

The parking deck was a little tight, but there was additional parking across the street.

The person who wrote the review below mine titled "Small Parking Spaces" must by the type of person who is never satisfied with anything and nitpicks just for the hell of it. The Seaside provided our group with the best Myrtle Beach golf vacation in all of the years we have been going to Myrtle Beach. The rooms, and the property as a whole, were immaculate. A big flatscreen TV in the living room and smaller flatscreens in every bedroom was a nice feature. The oceanview rooms were pretty much oceanfront views. The deluxe continental breakfast was more than adequate. The non-smoking policy is strict which is fine with me as I don't smoke. Check-in and check-out went smooth. I really can't say a bad thing about the Seaside. It's location is great - North Myrtle Beach is a lot nicer compared to being right in Myrtle Beach. We paid $280 per person for 4 nights and 5 rounds of golf with carts - the best deal on the Beach and the courses were great. No doubt I will be back - not only with my golf group but with my wife and 2 kids as well. Oh yeah, parking is fine as long as you go slow and pay attention to what you're doing.

we had originally reserved an ocean view one bedroom with a dvd player in the room. when we arrived the hotel had upgraded us to a two bedroom with no dvd player. after calling the desk they sent up the maintainence guy with the player and wanted to charge a $100 deposit on the player when some rooms have them already in them. they wanted my husband to bring it back to the desk when we were checking out. the picture on the tv was not the best in the world either. the parking spaces were too small and very hard to get into the spaces. if you have a nice car you dont want to try to get in the spaces. the spa in the bathroom wouldnt work. overall the best thing about this hotel was the breakfast lady. will not stay there again.
