Just me and my husband for a week away. We were a little concerned about the parking by reading the reviews which was not an issue. There is plenty of parking across the street from the tower. (The taller building). This is where we stayed for a week. The first 2 days there, our room was on the 7th floor which was ok. However, to watch the sunrise you have to look around the cable and the top of the neighboring building. So, if you want the sunrise view I suggest to go above floor 7. To our surprise we had a message on our phone the evening of our 2nd night. It was from management and said we needed to call the desk as soon as we returned. We got offered the penthouse suite for the rest of our stay at no charge due to the fact that our room door needed painted because the hotel was getting ready for an audit. The pool was clean and heated. The lazy river was too. There was a hot tub but we did not use because it is small and there were people in it. The bar by the pool is nice for an after dinner drink or whenever. It was open from noon till around 7 or 8. The bartender was nice. The beach wasn't crowded, people were friendly. The area behind the hotel is residential and quiet. Shopping & restaurants were only a few miles down the road. Our room was clean, and our tv wouldn't come on and we called the front desk to let them know so it can be fixed and maintenance arrived within 10 minutes and resolved the issue. (It was an issue with a cable being unhooked). Had free wifi and worked good. Breakfast was good but I suggested you go as soon as they start serving or everything will be gone, however the staff does their best to keep it stocked and clean which can be difficult with 20 people trying to eat at once, and if you want something that is empty from the breakfast bar all you gotta do is ask. BEWARE no bacon or sausage. Lol. It's your typical hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, orange juice, milk, coffee, Danishes. We did use the computer for guests so we could print out our return flight tickets, no problem there. There was a bookshelf with paperbacks that you can borrow to read too. There is a convient store across the street however they do not stay open late. There was a restaurant in walking distance, but we did not go there. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. This is not a 5 star hotel and the place is a little outdated, but it is clean with ocean front and for the money..... was well worth it. We will be back.
