Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

“Our Favorite North Mrytle Eatery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Spent 8 days on vacation in North Myrtle and ate at Flynn's 3 times. We've been dining here for several years and consider it a must. Lovely owner, friendly staff and great food in a clean, relaxed atmosphere. Best to call ahead especially on the weekends. Try this place, you'll keep coming back!

“Good restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

Its a happening place for sure. We got there at 530 and a large crowd had already started filing in. Its the first time I've ever eaten at an Irish tavern-pub and the shepherds pie was good. My girlfriend got the bangers and mash it was good also.

“The best in myrtle beach.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

We've been comin to flynns for years. We've been making our annual myrtle beach pilgrimage from California every summer for the last decade and once we found FLYNNS, it became our local spot. The owner is a doll, the wings are the best we've ever had, the service is always stellar; great wait staff, food, and drinks. We look forward to returning next summer for another round at our MB spot. Try the "Maggie Girl". DELICIOUS!

“Almost in Ireland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Having traveled Ireland, I can tell you when you step into this tavern, it's as if you stepped into Ireland! Marty Flynn returns to Ireland often and always bring back authentic Irish tokens to decorate his restaurant/tavern. Last night we had a party of 16. The hostess and wait staff were very attentive! The Monday night special of All-You-Can-Eat Roast Beef a favorite of my family...you must have the horse radish mashed potatoes with it! The bar tender knows how to build a nice cold glass of Guinness! Slainte!

After a nice walk we was welcomed and seated and worked in to their very busy schedule. I had the corned beef cabbage and it was outstanding....we will always come back!
