“Happy Hour on the Beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

Molly Darcy is a typical Irish Pub, but in Myrtle Beach it also has a charming deck on the beach. One evening we came for Happy Hour. The beer was on special and we both ordered a Happy Hour priced special - Irish Quesadillas made with corned beef and Irish Nachos. The quesadilla was a little different than usual with the corned beef, but a nice change from the usual. The Irish nachos were a little disappointing because had "Irish chili" on them and that was good, but they used the pre-melted cheese instead of real cheese. It was a pleasant evening and we had great company. We will be back again.

“Halloween lunch with a view!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013 via mobile

Great location! Nice beach views! Service was very good. First time at Molly Darcy's . We enjoyed eating outside on the patio. Open face Reuben was tasty and the Irish BLT was good on toasted Rye bread. Tasty cole Slaw. Would go back on a nice day to have lunch with a view!

“Great Bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

My wife and I walked down the beach 2 nights in a row and had dinner and drinks at the bar. Everything was great. The service, food and drink were excellant. I believe John and Josh were the bartenders and after one visit they remembered our names and drinks. That is a professional bartender.

“A Truly Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

I suspect that N Myrtle Beach was a great place back in the 60s and 70s and even earlier, but it is looking 'tired'. Also, arriving in late October probably missed the crowds, but having heard rave reviews of the city, I was slightly disappointed. Be that may, I spotted Molly Darcy's! This is the best 'Irish Pub' I've ever encountered. Nothing like a pub in Ireland, of course, but a great theme, especially with the flags of the different Counties/Provinces. The staff were wonderful, and the food excellent including the Atlantic Cod in the fish and chips. A definite place to visit.
