“Not a good reception for repeat customer.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

We called last year for a reservation and they told us we didn't need one, they weren't taking them. We were able to get a table for three way in the back when we arrived. The service was okay and the food was mediocre, nothing special. This March we were told we would have to come back in two hours since we had no reservation. The Hostess was snooty, aloof and very unfriendly explaining to us their business was so good now, reservations were a must. We will never return after such terrible attitude. Our party of four had many other better places to dine and we did..........

To you & your guests,
We want to thoroughly apologize for your experience on that evening!!!
We know that your experience begins when you walk in the door and that it should be a welcomed one, from beginning to end - atmosphere, being seated, your service AND your food. Yes, our business has grown & we strive for making all of our patrons happy. We ARE recommending reservations now, due to the growth of the business, & if we can get you a table, we certainly will try, or let you know when a table should be available.
Thank you for your feedback so that we can make any improvements necessary. Our intentions are not meant to be rude or unfriendly and again I apologize for your experience.
We DO hope you will try us again, so that we can show you that we are a friendly business!!! If you would, come back, please call us for a reservation & have dinner on us!!! Call 843-427-4720, & ask for Jeff Martini (Owner).
Sincerely,
Karen B, Manager

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

Took a chance on this little place based on Trip Advisor reviews. It definitely lives up to all the hype. Great food and service. Quaint little place with an excellent menu and fair pricing. We will definitely be returning.

“North Myrtle Beach's Best Dining Secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

The Midtown Bistro is indeed a little gem in North Myrtle Beach. It’s best to call for reservations: ALWAYS for dinner, and usually for lunch. The Italian food is excellent, and we’ve never had an entre that we didn’t like. We’ve taken many other couples there, and all have agreed with us that it’s a great place to eat. Service is good, and the wait staff is informed, energetic, and concerned that you get food that you will enjoy. The decor is warm and comfortable, and the wall art (which I believe is for sale) changes often, so there’s something new and interesting to see every time you dine there. There are no booths, and the restaurant is usually busy, if not packed, so it’s not the quietest place to go, yet it’s OK, especially if you can get a corner table. I would not bring children. Also put the address into your GPS before trying to find the place. It’s in a small strip center, set back from busy Hwy 17, and you usually don’t see it until you’ve just driven past the entrance.

“Better make reservations!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

Midtown Bistro is know by a lot of locals in Myrtle Beach for it's great food and good value. The Italian dishes are superb. If you leave here hungry - then it is your own fault. I just LOVE the Antipasta Salad, I usually ask for my dressing on the side so that I can take the rest home.
