“Great Golf Getaway!”

Just returned from a 3 night, 3 rounds of golf trip to Barefoot. There were 6 of us who stayed in a golf side, 3 bedroom condo right on the Norman Course. We played the Fazio, Love and Dye courses which were all excellent and challenging.

Condo was very nice, actually the same one we stayed in last year believe it or not! Nice Pool, tennis courts, sand volleyball, breakfast included at the Yacht Club and range balls each day.

Overall the place was great, food at the Pizzeria at the driving range was good but extremely slow. I never got my order but everyone else's was good so I ate theirs and they took 1/2 off the bill so it worked out.

Great place, nice accomodations and great golf! Go and enjoy!

“Wonderful place to stay..”

Barefoot Resort and Golf

Jun 15, 2008

We stayed in Edgewater, a beautiful gated community in Edgewater. Big pool with a hot tub right next to our condo. Our kids loved it. The condo itself was spacious and clean, had a nice screened in porch, we were never bothered by anyone. We did not use the shuttle as it was kind of inconvienent to wait for with 2 small kids. We just drove over to the ocean and always had good luck finding parking in the public accessways. The drive to the ocean in my opinion was the only negative. Book through Barefoot Paradise Vacations as we had an excellent experience with them.

“Great Condos and Great Golf”

My friends and I have been going to Mrytle Beach every year for the past five years, and we have stayed at multiple locations. For the past three years, we have stayed at Barefoot resorts, in a two bedroom condo.

What we really like is easy access some of the top courses in the Myrtle Beach area, not only at Barefoot, but also those in the area.

Would highly recommend this resort and visiting the area.

Whew, where to start! 7 of us shared a 3 bedroom condo in the Yacht Club Villas... (the new one next to the North Tower). We weren't hurting for space, as it was bigger than our house! Probably close to 2,000 square feet. The Kitchen was fully loaded and impeccable. The living room had a balcony which overlooked the intracoastal waterway. The "girls" room, which held a 20, 16, and 8 year old, was much like an actual hotel room, with 2 queen beds, a desk with internet connection, and armoire, walk in closet, and a bathroom fit for queens! Boy, were they ecstatic to have a jacuzzi tub, shower, 2 sinks... just great! They also had a private balcony.Their room was bigger than the master (or maybe it was the master).... but since there were 3 of them, we gave it to them. The other 2 rooms were average sized and very appropriate, each with their own bathroom. One of the coolest features was how this would be great for multiple families. The two bedrooms each have outside entrances as well as entrances from inside the condos.. it had double doors so that we could lock them out of the main condo or they could lock us out of their room!
The pool was incredible, so large, and never went above 4 feet, never had to worry about the little one. They also really enjoyed the hot tub (but being fair skinned, they soon learned that the hot tub and sunburns DO NOT mix, but hey, can't blame the resort for all that southern sunshine!)
They also have a very reliable shuttle service that runs about every 2 hours to the beach, since its about 3/4 mile away , but a very fun walk as well. They also have a shuttle to "barefoot landing" just on the other side of the intracoastal waterway, which is absolutely incredible! We walked there too, it's MUCH closer than the beach. It's like an outdoor mall, with many restaurants and unique shops (I reccomend Black Market Minerals... very impressive) and as for restaurants, I highly reccomend the Ultimate California Pizza... although the australian restaurant had a great feel (imagine a Rainforest Cafe). They had plenty of kiddy activities for my 8 year old, and my daughter and her boyfriend simply loved it too. They had "date nights" all the time and walked down their by themselves.
We arrived well after we plannned to, around 9pm (7 people = many potty breaks during a 14 hour drive) and check-in was still relatively easy.
I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE. Lovers, families, retired persons... it will NOT disappoint! Feel absolutely free to contact me with any questions, I loved it, I can't say enough about it, my family loved it, it brought my daughter and her boyfriend/fiance back from the brinks of a break-up... we never wanted to leave!!
This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful resort.
First time- River Crossing Villas
Second time- Greenbriar
Third Time- Yacht Club Villas (our favorite!)
Good Luck to all on your vacation search!

My family had a wonderful relaxing time at Barefoot. My kids enjoyed swimming in the largest pool in Myrtle Beach. Barefoot resort in right next to Barefool Landing. Rooms were large and very clean.
