“Wonderful Location & Room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

We loved the room which included a full kitchen, master bedroom, sitting room and balcony. Definitely a great resort, with very helpful staff and in close proximity to tons of wonderful attractions. We enjoyed the alligator adventures, barefoot landing, celebrity square, and the aquarium, but our favorite thing we did was rent fishing poles at the Apache Pier about 10 minutes away. It was a beautiful pier and we caught skate (a relative of stingray we were told) and small fish and even a two foot shark! We loved talking to the locals here and enjoyed the view.

The only reason I did not give this resort a perfect score was that only 2 of the 5 outdoor hot tubs were working each night and since we came on a colder week we would've taken advantage of this amenity more if it wasn't so crowded each night due to the other hot tubs being cold.

Overall we loved this resort, loved the location and will definitely be returning and recommending it to our friends.

Room Tip: We stayed in the King Ocean Front room and it was more than enough space for the two of us. Very bri...

Staff very friendly, helpfull and wants make your stay comfortable. Love the location and pools. Hopefully when I go back in the summer, the bar will have more going on. Weather was cool both weekends so the pool side bar was not open nor the out door band area.

Room Tip: Corner rooms have more outside lighting.

We've decided to do this road trip from NY to SC very last minute, and even though the weather wasn't as good as it normally is round this time of the year, we had such a great time. The room with perfect ocean view couldn't be better. The balcony, where we had breakfast every morning, was a first class seat to the ocean and beach. The appartmeny had everything we need, and it was clean and cosy. The kids had a great time in the three indoor pools (it was too cold for the outdoor pools unfortunately), and our little one learned her first 'strokes' in the lazy river. The staff was so sweet, especially in the gift shop(!). We fell in love with South Carolina!!
Thank you for the BEST spring break trip ever so far. We'll be back!!!!!

Great place nice and quiet! Hotel is right on the beach and minutes away from barefoot landing which is a great walk and shop kind of place. Hotel is also pet friendly which allowed me to bring my dog along for our vacation!!

Great stay, We have been to this resort several times through out the years. Only issue I had this year was when I arrived early (as I always do, so my family can enjoy the whole day) they said I could not go to the room until 4. Normally they will say as soon as the room is ready we could go up. Other than that, it was a great vacation.

This was a last minute spring break trip. We stayed in a studio efficiency which had a compact fridge, microwave, sink, dishes and utensils. Perfect for breakfast and lunch in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pools are beautiful and you are right on the beach, but out of the busy part of Myrtle Beach. It looked freshly painted and things were well maintained.

Negatives: We ate downstairs at the SandTrap Grill one nite - DON'T. The lettuce on our sandwich was old and slimy and the coleslaw had actually gone bad. Eeewww. The housekeeping services were lacking - wet, dirty towels hung up and clean ones not always given. Cookie pieces on the floor when we arrived in the room.

I loved everything about this hotel. The customer service was perfect. The location was our favorite part. I would stay in an upper floor because the view is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
