Excellent stay great price through groupon. Would definitely come back..Stayed in a oceanfront king deluxe. Did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. Fitness center and indoor pools nice. Enjoyed the valet service and did not have to make the walk to the parking garage...

The staff was very friendly and helpful, amenities were great. It was my grandson's first time swimming, he's 11 months, and the pool was very clean. The private bedroom and separate living room really suited our needs and my daughter was able to have privacy with her son while still being close by. We really enjoyed our little stay and will definitely come back for longer next time.

Room Tip: I loved the corner ocean view, nice large balcony, lots of privacy.

I loved my room. The pools were brautiful but I prefer staying in my room enjoying the beautiful view. The beds were so comfortable. The staff was great even though I couldn't get the amusement tickets for 2 for 20, everything about the hotel was wonderful.

We normally stay at the Dunes when we go to Myrtle Beach, but my husband made the reservation and couldn't remember the name of the hotel so he found Bay Watch by Google search for "indoor water park" for our kids. Bay Watch does not have an indoor water park (Dunes does), but the web leads you to believe it does stating there are 7 pools and 2 lazy rivers. Neither the pools or lazy rivers were filled completely with the water line being about 12 inches below where it should be and just about all the pools are outside so hence not an indoor water park. The price was $100 per night and they did offer a military discount so that was a plus. The corridors and common areas (aside from the lobby) were pretty shabby and the rooms are apparently "owned" by someone who let the hotel rent them. We only found this out when we called the front desk and asked if we could get a chord for the DVD player in the room. The front desk sent maintenance to our room and the maintenance man told us that there was nothing they could do because they couldn't take a chord from an unoccupied room due to the fact that the chords are the "property of the individual room owner."

The room was overall shabby and outdated and my husband had to get rid of palmetto bugs (the South Carolinian name for a cockroach!) from the room. The bathroom and kitchenette were clean and decent though and there was plenty of sleeping room as we had a double and there was also a pull out sofa bed and another drop down bed in the living room. A couple of things were good- the view was awesome and it was in North Myrtle Beach where there is much less traffic that in Myrtle Beach proper.

We asked for a late checkout (check out is 11 and we asked to stay until noon) and they said we could stay until noon, but it would cost $15 extra and $15 for each additional hour even though the room we were in was not booked for the following night. I can understand this policy durin summer and high season or if the room had an incoming occupant, but not in February and low season.

Overall it wasn't absolutely horrid, but there are MANY nicer hotels to choose from in Myrtle Beach so I would not waste my time with this one again.

Had never stayed at Bay Watch, had no idea what to expect!!!!!! My husband & needed a mimi-vacation & stayed 3 nights!!!! Our stay was great, the condo was nice!!! The only cons were the bedroom was really dark & I could smell where they allow pets when I was lying in bed close to the floor!!!! Those were really the only issues we had with the condo!!!! Very large bathroom, which is a plus for me:)) It snowed while we were there, we were on the16th flood & is was awesome watching the snow from our balcony......Overall a nice stay!!! Would stay again...

Room Tip: I really have no preference!!! Don`t really think the Resort could have a bad room

We just stayed for 4 nights over the president's day weekend, and it was wonderful. We chose this place because of the indoor pools, etc. There are 3 towers very close together which made walking from one indoor pool to another easy, escpecially in 30 degree weather. The rooms were very clean, and looked well maintained. The pull out sofa bed was the most comfortable my child has ever slept on. The murphy bed added an extra bed, but provided extra space in the living room when folded back into the wall. There was plenty of storage space in the bathroom which is nice when you have 5 people sharing one bathroom. The staff was very nice, and responded quickly to our requests (our room was missing a lightbulb in the living room and we requested a crib). If you need a crib and are checking in late, call ahead and ask them to put it in your room. After a certain time, they are not able to retrieve one from storage. My 2 year old kept everyone up the first night as he didn't have a bed and didn't want to sleep with anyone. Other than that, we had a great time. It's a great location less than 2 miles from barefoot landing and great restuarants. I would recommend this resort without hesitation to anyone.

Room Tip: The one bedroom with double beds, pull out sofa, and murphy bed sleeps 8. Both the bedroom and livi...
